AGRES 2011 symposium on Oct 20,21

The eleventh Agricultural Research symposium - AGRES 2011 of the Wayamba University will be held on Tuesday 20 and Wednesday 21 at the University premises at Makandura.

Symposium coordinator and senior lecturer Department of Biotechnology, Dr. Nimali De Silva said that the research findings of the final year students of the 2007-2008 batch will be published at the AGRES 2011. Dr. Sarath Abeywardena the Director of National Science Foundation will be the chief guest at the occasion. The current development phase is based on Agriculture. Therefore the AGRES 2011 could be considered a major boost to ensure an Agricultural renaissance, Dr. Nimali said
