Rajans hold Sokians to a draw

Dharmaraja College, Kandy held Dharmasoka College to a draw in their
inter school cricket match concluded at the public grounds, Ambalangoda
yesterday.
The Rajans were set a victory target of 166 in 30 overs and were 80
for 5 at stumps. Highlight of the match was the left arm spin bowling of
Chamath Gunasinghe who took 6 for 54 for Dharmasoka College to dismiss
the Rajans for 166.
The Sokians batting crumbled in the second innings were dismissed for
127 with Lohan de Silva holding the batting together with a patient 42.
If not for this knock the home team could have lost the match.
Dharmasoka College 204 all out in 54 overs (Adeesha Thilamalage 66,
Yohan Rashmitha 57, D. Tharaka 20, Arvinda Withanarachchi 3 for 58,
Lakshan de Silva 4 for 66) and 127 all out in 41 overs (Sudara Deshantha
20, Lohan de Silva 42, Nuwan Karunaratne 3 for 19, Arvinda
Withanarachchi 2 for 28, Daminda Prabath 2 for 18).
Dharmaraja College 166 all out in 66 overs (Lochana Wijesiri 17,
Nuwan Karunaratne 29, Lasith Weeraratne 29, Chamath Gunasinghe 6 for 54,
Ramesh Mendis 3 for 27) and 80 for 5 in 30 overs at stump (Nuwan
