Batticaloa international trade exhibition 2011

The inaugural Batticaloa international trade exhibition 2011 organised by Lanka Exhibition and Conference Services and the Batticaloa District Chamber of Commerce Industry and Agriculture under the guidance and support of the National Authority of Enterprise Development at the Weber Stadium in Batticaloa.

Minister of Economic Development Basil Rajapaksa was the chief guest Chairman of the National Enterprise Development Authority M.S.M Ameer Ali was present.

Deputy Minister of Trade Bashir Segu Dawood, Chief Minister of the Eastern Province S. Chandrakanthan, Minister Vinayagamoorthy Muralitharan, Eastern Provincial Councillor M.L.M. Hisbullah and other dignitaries participated in the opening ceremony.

The fair is the first of its kind to be held in the region and will showcase products and services relating to trade affairs of the people of the region.

Participants will include local and international companies.
