Preethi Jayawardena, new CNCI chief

The Ceylon National Chamber of Industries (CNCI), elected Preethi Jayawardena as the new chairman of CNCI at its 50th annual general meeting recently.

Jayawardena who had served as the Deputy Chairman, has been a long-standing member of the Chamber and a well-known and reputed financial and management specialist and consultant with long experience in the industry sector.

Jayawardena is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICASL).

Jayawardena counts nearly 40 years of Industrial experience and currently serves as the Managing Director/CEO of the Chemanex PLC of the CIC group. He also also serves as the Non Executive Chairman of the Finance Company PLC and also serves in the Boards of Directors of many other Public and Private sector Companies in Sri Lanka and overseas.
