Sri Lankan Quantity Surveying Company at Infra Oman 2011

Milcris (Pvt) Limited (Oman), a leading Sri Lankan registered Chartered Quantity Surveying company, participated in the Infra Oman 2011 exhibition, at the Oman International Exhibition Centre from September 20 to 22.

The three-day exhibition, held in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport and Communications and the Oman Society of Contractors showcased engineering, architectural and consultancy services, construction supplies, building and heavy equipment for the implementation of infrastructure projects.

More than 100 local and international exhibitors from Austria, the Kingdom of Bahrain, China, Egypt, France, Germany, Iran, Ireland, Italy, South Korea, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Qatar, Spain, Turkey, USA, UK and UAE participated.

Sri Lanka's Ambassador to the Sultanate, Asoka Girihagama, visited the Milcris stall with the chief guest, Dr. Rasheed bin Al Safi Al Huraibi, Chairman of the Tender Board of Oman and his delegation. The Ambassador said "We are proud to see a Sri Lankan Company operating in the international market and I hope that other Sri Lankan Companies too will be encouraged to take part at international exhibitions and show the world the ability and potential of Sri Lankans".
