Carlton Super 7's with a IPL flavour

The third Carlton Super 7's Sri Lanka 2011 Rugby Tournament will get
the flavour of the Indian Premier League cricket (IPL) touch , for the
first time in the country, and may be in the world in a rugby contest,
when it gets underway in two 'legs' from October 29.
The first 'leg' of the championship will be played at Nittawela ,
Kandy on October 29 and 30 and the second 'leg' on November 5 and 6 at
the Royal College Sports Complex grounds. The idea of conducting a
tournament of this nature is to uplift the standard of the game with
thirty 'A' grade international rugby players taking part in ten
franchises.
Three rugby international players will be permitted to be included in
each team. The two weeks tournament will consist of ten teams from nine
districts. There will also be an additional combined team.
The teams will be also coached by ten International coaches who are
experts in coaching 'sevens' teams
