Sugar free products from Daintee

Sugar-free products were introduced by Daintee Limited recently. Daintee Limited was founded in 1984 with the collaboration of Barker & Dobson, a confectionery company in UK.

It has a successful islandwide distribution network with over 120 agents and around 800 employees.

Daintee has the SLS certification for toffee products and also has the ISO 9001 2008 accreditation. Recent surveys have shown an alarming increase of Diabetes in the country including schoolchildren who are affected this prompted Daintee to produce a range of products as sweet as those made with sugar but devoid of the harmful effects.

All sweeteners are not recommended for children under three years.

A product which contains less than 0.5g of Sucrose per 100g, is classified as Sugar-free. All sugar-free products from Daintee conform to the current food regulation.

Daintee Longlive Products uses mainly Xylitol.

Xylitol is a world premium naturally occurring sweetener.

The sweetener has been approved by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and governments around the world. Looks like sugar and tastes like sugar - xylitol has no bitter after taste unlike other sweeteners but gives a refreshing cooling sensation.
