Sampath Bank's tech prowess rewarded at NBQSA 2011

"Sampath Vishwa", Sampath Bank's internet banking facility won a Silver award in the Financial Applications category at the 10th National Best Quality Software Awards (NBQSA) 2011, in Colombo recently.

The Bank's "Sampath IT Change Management System" won a Merit award in the In-house Applications category.

"We're proud to have won this award" said a spokesperson for the Bank.

"We understand how busy customers are and therefore, constantly find ways to make sure that they spend less time with the logistics of banking and more time spending the money they're collecting and saving."

Sampath Vishwa developed in-house is offered under Sampath Bank's TechBanking initiative to live up to the Bank's brand promise: 'We create time for you', enabling customers to make time for more important things.

'Sampath Vishwa' was the only IT Solution from a Bank at the NBQSA to be nominated to the Asia Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) Awards 2011 which will be held in Pattaya, Bangkok in November.
