YESL and Ladies' College DVS join to widen horizons in training and
development
The Young Entrepreneurs Sri Lanka(YESL) and the Ladies College
Department of Vocational Studies (LCDVS)entered into a Collaborative
Agreement last week for bilateral expansion of activities in human
resources development.

YESL has strategic alliance arrangements with professional
organisations for execution of relevant post secondary and tertiary
level courses. LCDVS which commenced operations in 1981 is one of the
pioneer vocational training institutes in the country.
President YESL Patrick Amarasinghe said he was happy to enter into a
partnership with LCDVS. We have been in training and development for
over 20 years, covering a wide range of non-technical management related
courses addressing almost every segment of society. Considering the
programs conducted by LCDVS and YESL. I see a useful fusion towards
widening horizons to improve human capital.
Principal, Ladies College Ms. Nirmali Wickramasinghe said that it was
useful to open avenues in the conventional education system through
programs such as entrepreneurship, and work force readiness.
We are open to adding new subjects that would enhance the scope of
students entering employment.
