Entrust Securities records 323% growth

Entrust Securities Limited (ESL) made its presence felt in the financial market as a leading, licensed primary dealer appointed by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka to exclusively deal in Government Securities such as Treasury Bills and Bonds.

The company which celebrated its 11th year in business, recorded impressive results with a PAT of Rs 148.7 m compared with Rs 35.2 m recorded for the financial year 2009/2010, resulting in a growth of 323 percent for year ending March 31, 2011.

Its active presence in secondary market transactions and prudent decision making contributed to overall profitability of the company, with the income on capital gains rising from Rs 32.3 m to Rs 91.0 m which, is an increase of 182 percent.

Recently published audited financials reports highlighted remarkable growth of the company with an Earnings Per Share (EPS) of Rs 6.76 compared to Rs 1.60 achieved as at March 31, 2010.
