Sampath Bank rewards Grade Five scholars

Five students who obtained high marks at the Grade five scholarship examination this year were awarded cash prizes and stationery items at the Sampath Centre recently.

The top five winners in each district will also get cash prizes. They will be notified to collect the cash from the nearest Sampath Bank branch. The prize will be doubled for those who have ‘Sampath Pubudu’ and ‘Sampath Sapiri’ accounts.

A series of seminars were organised early this year by the Bank for the benefit of grade five students, where they had an opportunity of learning methods of managing time in writing answers and also how to answer difficult questions. The most likely questions were also discussed. Account holders of ‘Sampath Pubudu’ and ‘Sampath Sapiri’ children’s accounts as well as non-account holders were able to participate at the seminars.
