Austrian
philanthropist Nathasha Kampushi donated a two-storeyed
building for the Children’s and Maternity Wards of the
Bulathsinhala Government Hospital at a cost of Rs. 110
million. Her gesture was made following a request of Dr.
Dhammika Herath, DMO, Bulathsinhala Government Hospital and
Upali Sirimalwatta of Kalutara North. Here Minister of

Youth Affairs and
Skills Development Minister Dullas Alahapperuma and officers
recently visited the proposed youth park at Eliyakanda in
Matara. The Ministry will set up this youth park with a mini
theatre open air stage, library and a restaurant. The
Ministry will spend Rs. 50 million for the setting up of

World Children’s Day
celebrations at Elakaka M.V. Bentota was held recently. The
Chief Guest Bentara-Elpitiya SLFP Chief Organiser Geetha
Kumarasinghe donated a ‘piano’ worth Rs. 200,000 to the
