HNB and Hemas Hospitals celebrate World Children's Day 2011

Hatton National Bank (HNB) and Hemas Hospitals celebrated World Children's Day on October 1, with a special program for children.

The event was held at Hemas Hospital Wattala with the participation of more than 75 children accompanied by their parents.

Twenty-five Singithi Kiriketiyo Children's Savings Accounts were given to babies born at Hemas Hospital under the Maathru program. Over one thousand babies are born under the Maathru program launched by Hemas Hospitals which offers a fixed price baby delivery package.

All babies born under the Maathru program are awarded a HNB Singithi Kiriketiyo Children's Savings Account with an initial deposit of Rs.1,500/- along with additional benefits.
