Red Hat appoints OpenED as training partner in Sri Lanka

Red Hat has appointed the Colombo based IT Training company OpenED as its certified training provider following a visit by its Senior Trainer Arun Eapen to Sri Lanka in September.

This visit has resulted in the entire OpenED training team being trained and upgraded to Red Hat Version 6 and qualified as trainers for the RHCE and RHCSA programs.

Following this, 42 participants, many holding senior appointments in the IT and other corporate sectors were trained by Chinthaka Deshapriya and his team at Open ED. They will be sitting for the RHCE and RHCSA examinations this month.

OpenEd was set up in November 2010 by Chinthaka Deshapriya and Russell Kerkoven, for capacity building in Information Technology and Knowledge Management. Its office and lab is in Bambalapitiya.
