Kingswood and Mahamaya emerge champs at Central Province Swimming Championships

SWIMMING: Kingswood College, Kandy and Mahamaya College, Kandy won the boys and girls Championships at the Central Province Seventh annual Swimming Championships at the Kingswood College pool last weekend.

In the boys championships Kingswood College collected 779 points to take top place, second was Colombo International School with 217 points, third was Dharmaraja College, Kandy with 198 points, fourth was St. Anthony's Boys College with 170 points, fifth was Gateway College, Kandy with 102 points and sixth was St. Sylvester's College, Kandy with 50 points.

Among the girls Mahamaya Girls College came on top with 480 points, Hillwood College, Kandy came second with 254 points, Girls High School Kandy were third with 228 points, fourth came Gateway College, Kandy with 98 points, fifth came St. Anthony's Girls College with 63 points and sixth came Pushpadana College with 43 points.
