CIC inks ties with Dubai-based S.S. Lootah

MD/CEO Keerthi Kotagama and CEO Yousif Bin Saeed

CIC Agri Businesses, has tied-up with Dubai-based S.S. Lootah International to address agri market requirements in the UAE and explore opportunities in Africa.The two Companies signed an MOU to this effect in Dubai last week.

“The partnership with Lootah International complements our vision of enriching the agriculture sector with the best quality produce from ‘seed to shelf’. In addition to the supply of indoor plants, we will also explore the possibilities of establishing advanced projects in tissue culture propagation and Agri Business,” CEO-CIC Agri Businesses, Keerthi B. Kotagama said.

“We are delighted to cooperate with CIC Agri Businesses, the largest agriculture company in Sri Lanka . We will initially import indoor plants to the UAE markets having identified it as the prime area to focus on, to enter into the market. There is huge potential in this area as product value addition can be done with the infrastructure available in the UAE,” Yousif Bin Saeed Al Lootah, Chief Executive Officer-Creative Choice said.
