Kangaroo Cabs launches website

Kangaroo Cabs (Pvt) Ltd, launched its website www.2588588.com to provide a quicker service.

The launching ceremony was held in Colombo under the patronage of DFCC, Vardana Bank, CEO, Lakshman Silva. Kangaroo Cab Service, Chairman and Managing Director, Sunil Fonseka was also present.

Kangaroo Cabs, Director/Finance, Kusal Fonseka said the company's cab service owns a fully-fledged 225 modern luxury cars that are equipped with digital metres and GSP technology.

The company also owns about 150 vans . "Our call centre is equipped with the latest equipment.

The sophisticated technology immensely helps us to take care of any amount of calls and cater to all inquiries within few minutes,".

He said the company has a range of vehicles for any occasion including weddings and homecomings etc.

Kangaroo Cabs, Director Operations, Thushara Fonseka said that the company maintains a 24-hour service and steps have also been taken to provide a `Wake up Call Service', especially for the benefit of overseas travellers who need airport drops at any time of the day.

Kangaroo Cab Service, Chairman/Managing Director, Sunil Fonseka said the service had started in 1988 with 20 cars and it gradually became a household name in Colombo due to providing safe transportation to a large number of clients and for those who leave overseas.

He said the company provides an excellent service with its fully-fledged fleet of 225 modern vehicles.

More luxury cars will be added to the fleet within the next few months.

He said to order cabs 'online'. Customers could also request a cab immediately or book for a later date by e.mail or SMS clearly mentioning the location of the client.

"Any person who uses 'Face Book' could also book cabs by logging onto 'facebook.com.kangaroocabs'.

Clients have also the option to add a remark for the booking such as a landmark or request for a particular type of car.
