Road cleared for Ra-Blue

Ra-Blue is well set to retain party leadership for the next five years at the Woc Com meeting of the Elephant Party to be held today. He cleared his way by appointing a majority of his confidantes to fill the existing vacancies of the Woc Com. Asked about the fate of Ra-Blue, Sun Kind-Leader said, "The leader is going to win by a handsome margin".

Love-Slave, Ka-roo to be expelled

Both Saa-jeet, the Love-Slave and Ka-roo Victory-suriya are set to lose their deputy posts, if Ra-Blue emerges victorious today. A confident Ra-Blue met his inner circle team at the Lane that is Fifth yesterday and appointed men who will bring no confidence motions against his deputies and even those who would second them.

Salty tea for Priya-vision

Tea with Aginomoto, instead of sugar? That's what Priya-vision Yaa-paa, the Min-isterial type for environment, had to experience after a media briefing at his office in Mulla that is Battara. He got a shock when he took the first sip. It was disclosed later that a worker sent to buy sugar had mistakenly bought Aginomoto. Even the person who made tea had not noticed it!

Lull-kanth rewarded for hard work

Lull-kanth got a call from a businessman who supplies sacks for vegetable traders. Lull-kanth then got the Bell Boys to creep into demonstrations against the introduction of plastic crates to transport vegetables. Jay-Vee-Pee goons deployed by Lull-Kanth were seen playing an active role in demonstrations at Anuradhapura and Dambulla. The businessman met Lull-kanth the same night to 'thank' him for his 'hard work'.
