The book “Tissa” the
life story of General Secretary of the United National
Party, Tissa Attanayake authored by journalist Nihal
Jagathchandra was presented to Prime Minister D.M.
Jayarathna by Tissa Attanayake at the Prime Minister’s
Office at the parliamentary complex on December 21.
First Lady Shiranthi
Rajapaksa donated a newly built house worth over one million
rupees to the widow of Naval petty officer,who sacrificed
his life in a sea battle during the humanitarian operation
at a ceremony held at Udammita Nittambuwa on December 16.
