LMI 2011 Bulletin published

The Manpower Planning, Development and Research Division has published the LMI Bulletin (2011 release) recently.

It comprises vacancy analysis based on the newspaper survey carried out by the division, labour market status and trend analysis based on the secondary data obtained from the labour force survey reports of the Department of Census and Statistics and Annual reports of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.

This volume provides information on two important aspects in the local labour market: the foreign employment sector and labour productivity. The report also presents information on labour market institutes, such as enforcement of labour laws and industrial relations, for which the primary data were provided by the Department of Labour.
