Indian Education Fair concludes today

The three-day Indian Education Fair at the BMICH concluding today has been visited already by thousands of students, parents and others seeking post-graduate and higher levels of IT education and a large number is expected today, Indian High Commission sources said.

The ‘ Indian Education Fair 2012’ held under the auspices of the EdCil India, a Government of India Enterprise, the High Commission of India in Colombo and the Sri Lanka Exhibition and Conference Services Pvt. Ltd (LECS) was last held in Colombo in May 2011 facilitating admissions to an array of universities and colleges in India that provide world class education in virtually all courses and streams in various disciplines.

The number of on-the-spot admissions offered this time around was higher than at the last exhibition and a fairly large number of visitors also obtained consultancy for admissions in the future, the sources said.
