Superb century by Cambrian skipper Tharidu Dilshan

Cambrian skipper Tharindu Dilshan hit up a scintillating unbeaten 117 runs which included eight hits to the ropes and eight over it and occupying the crease for 122 minutes and facing 74 balls in their drawn inter-school under-19 cricket match played against Royal College, Colombo for the Dr. D.L.F. Senarathne Trophy at Reid Avenue, Colombo. Dilshan completed a well compiled 69 runs in their first essay too.

Resuming at 92 for 7 in reply to Cambrians modest total of 139 Royal made 151 runs with Isuru Gunatilleke and Poorna Aluthge scoring 25 and 35 runs respectively. Sujith Pushpakumara was the most successful bowler for the visitors with 5 got 39.

When stumps were drawn Cambrians were 173 for 6 with Harith Samarasinghe claiming 3 for 30.

Prince of Wales: 139 and 173 for 6 (Tharindu Dilshan 117 not out, Ashan Mendis 29, Harith Samarasinghe 3 for 30).

Royal: (92 for 7 overnight) - 151 all out (Isuru Gunatilleke 25, Poorna Aluthge 30, Sujith Pushpakumara 5 for 39, Thilan Nimesh 3 for 56).
