Caltex introduces 'Delo Sports Synthetic Blend SAE 10W-30'
Caltex has introduced its Delo Sports Synthetic Blend SAE 10W-30, the
first new-generation diesel engine product specifically designed to meet
the requirements of sport utility, sport activity, pick up and 4x4 type
vehicles.
The product has passed rigorous tests for high-performance standards
for diesel lubricants, certified by the American Petroleum Institute,
and is now available for diesel engine owners in Sri Lanka. This new
product introduction by the lubricant giant to the local market offers
diesel engine owners in Sri Lanka, the first premium quality, high
performance, low viscosity diesel engine oil for Sport Utility Vehicles.
It is the latest addition to the brand portfolio that is marketed by
Chevron Lubricants Lanka PLC, the pre eminent marketeer of Caltex,
Havoline and Delo brand of lubricants in Sri Lanka.
Among the many benefits from using this specially formulated
synthetic blend is the prolonged engine life capacity due to the very
high oxidation stability combined with excellent dispersancy and
anti-wear characteristics that minimises deposit formation and wear.
Control of soot related wear is especially important in SUV type diesel
engines subject to stop/start city driving or in hard working off-road
service.
The multigrade viscosity provides additional protection against wear
at start-up and under high temperature operating conditions.
The product's high performance synthetic blend base fluid combined
with the metallic detergent additive system preserves full power and
performance by providing excellent upper-ring-belt deposit control under
high temperature encountered in turbocharged diesel engines. As a
result, the wear control capabilities in the product offers Sports
Utility owners reduced operating costs as well.
The new Delo Sports Synthetic blend reduces oil consumption as its
base fluid and highly shear-stable viscosity index improvers provide
superior control of oil flow through the ring belt area by maintaining
oil viscosity, thereby reducing the oil evaporation at the elevated ring
zone temperatures experienced under high temperature on or off-road
conditions.
