Mass protest tomorrow
Islandwide demonstrations to counter the attempts by the Opposition
and certain NGOs at the instigation and financing of the international
forces to create unrest in the country will commence from tomorrow.

Abeywardene said a series of protests campaigns will be held to
demonstrate people's support through organisations of alliance political
parties and other public organisations throughout the country on an
electoral basis from tomorrow, March 2.
He said this is to counter the attempts being made by certain Western
countries, the resolution against Sri Lanka at the United Nations Human
Rights Commissions to start today in Geneva, and to destabilise this
country similar to what they did in Tunisia, Egypt, Libya and Syria."

held in the main towns in each electorate and the main rally will be
held in Colombo and the mass rally will follow with several other events
until the New Year celebrations in April.
