Three students receive Korean schols

The Government of the Republic of Korea will provide three Sri Lankan students with opportunities to study in Korea under a five-year undergraduate degree course scholarship.

The objective of the program is to provide international students with an opportunity to conduct advance studies at higher educational institutions in Korea, in order to promote international exchanges in education and mutual friendship between countries.

Three students who were selected by the Korean Government last month, on conjunction with the Ministry of Higher Education, study for a one-year language course and a four-year undergraduate degree course in the universities in Korea.Last week, Jongmoon Choi, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Sri lanka, invited the three to the Embassy to hand over relevant documents.
