Navy take first innings lead
Sri Lanka Navy SC took a good first innings lead over BRC on the
second day of their Sri Lanka Cricket conducted inter-club Premier
League Tier 'A' match continued at Havelock Park yesterday.
The match will be continued at 10 a.m. today.
Sri Lanka Navy SC: 278 all out (Yohan Kumara 55, Chanaka Ruwansiri
43, Malith Cooray 46, Krishal Manage 2 for 34, Malan Madusanka 2 for 45,
Thanara Abeyratne 2 for 23) and 68 for 3 at close (Pubudu Edirisinghe
20).
BRC: 215 all out (Andy Solomans 43, Gihan Dilruk 35, Lakmal
Keerthiratne 3 for 38, Yohan Kumara 3 for 14).
Saracens - 322/6
Welagedara Stadium wicket continued to remain a batsmen's paradise on
the second day of their Sri Lanka Cricket conducted inter-club Premier
League Tier 'A' match between Kurunegala YCC and Saracens continued
yesterday.
Following the marathon known of 150 runs by Gayan Maneshan of
Kurunegala YCC on the opening day, Saracens SC's Gamindu Kanishka (103)
and opener Amila Sandaruwan (93) came out with two blistering knocks as
bowlers of both sides had a torrid time.
Saracens SC, in reply to Kurunegala YCC's mammoth first innings total
of 413 for 8 declared, were 322 for 6 at close on day two. The match
will be continued at 10 a.m. today.
Kurunegaya YCC: 413 for 8 decl. (Gayan Maneshan 150, Sisira Kumara

Sri Lanka Army SC, in reply to Police SC's first innings total of 317
all out, gained a good first innings lead, scoring 361 for 8 at close on
the second day of their Sri Lanka Cricket conducted inter-club Premier
League Tier 'B' match continued at Panagoda yesterday.
The match will be continued at 10 a.m. today.
Police SC: 317 all out (Dhammika Rajapakse 57, Harsha de Silva 59,
Kosala Hemakantha 32, Aruna Priyantha 39, Seekuge Prasanna 7 for 129).
Sri Lanka Army SC: 361 for 8 at close. (Asela Gunaratne 126 n.o,

CCC in the lead
CCC took an overall lead of 116 runs with nine second innings wickets
in hand on the second day of their Sri Lanka Cricket conducted
inter-club Premier League Tier 'B' match against Sri Lanka Air Force SC
continued at Rifle Green yesterday.
CCC, who were bowled out for 175 in the first innings, made the same
total for the loss of onely one wicket in their second essay at close.

Sri Lanka Ports Authority SC, having gained first innings points, are
well set for an outright win over Panadura Sports Club on the second day
of their Sri Lanka Cricket conducted inter-club Premier League Tier 'B'
match continued at Braybrooke Place yesterday.
The match will be continued at 10 a.m. today.
