Sadeera and Ruwan take-over the lead in 2nd week's voting

MOST POPULAR SCHOOLBOY CRICKETER CONTEST: Josephian Sadeera Samarawickrema (All Island) and Ruwan Bandara of Vidyartha, Kandy (Outstation) took the number one spot in count number 2 at the Sunday Observer/Mobitel Most Popular Schoolboy Cricketer of the Year 2012 competition.

Samarawickrema (St. Joseph's) polled 5,281 votes to oust last week's leader Ashan Wanigaratne 4,781 to third place, while another Thurstanite Sajeeva Salgado who scored a fine century in last week's 'Big Match' moved to second place with 4,803.

In the Outstation Contest Vidyartha's Ruwan Bandara took the top spot polling 3,908, replacing Angelo Jayasinghe to the second place who had 3,843 votes against his name.
