Shamara,Nimesh prop up Sebs

Prince of Wales College were 117 for 4 at the end of day one in the 'Mini Battle' against St. Sebastian's College played at Moratuwa.

Sebs batting first scored 241 runs with Shamara Karunaratne and Nimesh Perera making 55 runs and 56 runs respectively, Ravindu Sasanka had a superb bowling spell of 5 for 30.

For Cambrians Chamika Sasanka was 39 and skipper Crishan Aponso was unbeaten on 30 runs.

St. Sebastian's: 241 (Shan Fernando 39, Shamara Karunaratne 55, Nimesh Fernando 56, Sheral de Silva 2 for 50, Ravindu Sasanka 5 for 30. Prince of Wales: 117 for 4 (Chamika Sasanka 39, Crishan Aponso 30 not out, N. Fernando 2 for 25).
