AOD offers International Design Degree scholarship

AOD (Academy of Design) will offer an International Design Degree scholarship and is endorsed by the IAA- International Advertising Association Sri Lanka Chapter which aims at elevating Sri Lankan advertising industry standards.

AOD, has identified the potential of the local advertising industry to become a global force in visual communication.

This requires international standard education in design and communication to sharpen the talents of our advertising creative professionals .

AOD offer design degree scholarships to advertising creative proffessionals.

"Ad-Creatives is AOD's brainchild and contribution to the growth of the Sri Lankan advertising industry," said Managing Director of AOD, Linda Speldewinde. "What we are offering talented industry professionals, is a chance to fine tune their creative wits with a global degree program taught by an internationally qualified faculty." President of IAA -Sri Lanka, Raynor Silva issued a statement endorsing the Ad-Creative scholarship because it has an immense impact on Sri Lanka's advertising sector. "We see this as the essential beginning to bridge local and international knowledge gaps. This is a great thing for Sri Lankan advertising, and we're proud to endorse AOD's efforts to get us there."

AOD offers Northumbria University School of Design UK, BA (Hons) Graphic Design degree qualification that is acclaimed in world advertising.

The program offers thorough training in copy writing, advertising campaigns, graphic design, typography, editorial design and packaging along with supportive fields such as photography, animation and web design.

A panel consisting of AOD and IAA recommended professionals will select ten exceptionally creative advertising professionals of the applicants' portfolios, and they will commence their education in May .

The program will be structured in a part-time format so that professionals will be able to continue their careers parallel to their education.

AOD will be accepting creative portfolios of advertising professionals with experience in a creative advertising/graphics sector for three or more years.
