DSL (Pvt) Ltd. introduced a green tyre by the name of GT Radial Champiro Eco. It is Sri Lanka's first green tyre and up-to-date it has gained acceptance islandwide.

GT Radial Champiro ECO was launched in 2010 and was awarded by MURI (Indonesian Records Body) as the first eco-friendly tyre produced by Indonesian manufacturer.

The launch of GT Radial Champiro Eco offers a more fuel efficient tyre to the market and help reduce the carbon emissions contributing to reducing global warming, said Chairman and MD DSL (Pvt) Ltd. Saroj Perera.

Using Nanotek Silica Technology, The GT Radial Champiro Eco produces very low rolling resistance resulting in lower heat generation and hence reduces fuel consumption and thus reducing CO2 emissions making it environmental friendly, he said.

The GT Radial Champiro Eco already complies with the very low EU 2012 noise emission regulations (European Standard Regulations) and provides a high level of comfort while driving.

The use of new generation polymers in the tread compound also provides high grip levels on wet surfaces which gives this tyre an overall Outstanding Performance for your driving experience.
