Arugambay in the East with the beginning of the tourist

A massive development program is now under way in the Eastern
Province and Polonnaruwa district in line with the 2013 'Deyata Kirula'
National Exhibition.
A sum of Rs. 16,528 million will be allocated for the development
projects in the Polonnaruwa, Batticaloa, Trincomalee and Ampara
districts in parallel to Deyata Kirula 2013. A preliminary discussion on
the exhibition was held on June 28 headed by Economic Development
Minister Basil Rajapaksa.

Siyambalapitiya, Provincial Council and Local Government Minister A.L.M.
Athaulla, Deputy Minister of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development
Susantha Punchi Nilame, Deputy Minister of Child Development and Women's
Affairs M.L.A.M Hizbullah, several parliamentarians ,members of
Pradeshiya Sabhas in the Eastern Province and senior government
officials participated in the discussion. |
