Aviva NDB wins gold

Aviva NDB Insurance was among the 'Super 10' gold winners at the HRM Awards held recently at Cinnamon Grand. Aviva NDB was the only insurer to win the Award. The presentation was organised by the Association of HR Professionals and assessed by AON Hewitt.

Aviva NDB's Director, Human Resources, Chathuri Munaweera received the Award.

The panel of judges comprised IPMA HR Executive Director, Neil Reichenberg, Johnson and Johnson Vice President for South Asia, Yashwant Sadashivrao, EFC CEO and Director General Ravi Peiris and Former Chairman of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, Chandra Jayaratne and Director and Chairman of Board of Management of PIM Prof. Uditha Liyanage, headed the panel.

Liyanage said that the panel was impressed by the strategic approach, clearly articulated plans and competency-based recruitment and appraisals among the best practices demonstrated by the local companies that had applied for the Award.
