of those who pose as land owners and try to dispose of others’ lands
illegally. Several bogus land deals have been reported from many
parts of the country due to original deeds being forged and sold to
unsuspecting buyers by racketeers without the knowledge of the real

Police probe Wellawatte deaths
Three bodies were found inside a house in a
decomposed state, yesterday afternoon by policemen when they broke
in, Police Media Spokesman, SSP Ajith Rohana told the Sunday
Observer. The deceased have been identified as the father (59),
mother (58) and daughter (26) from Kotagala, and were living in a
rented house at Ramakrishna Road Wellawatte.
