Toyota Lanka to expand service operations

"Toyota Lanka is ready to expand its service operations to regions to cater to the increasing demand for quality service and genuine spare parts from Toyota vehicle users," said General Manager, Service, Mathisha Samaranayake.

"We have ambitious plans for the future, including expanding geographical reach and adding value to customers through a series of improved 3S facilities in Ratmalana and 2S facilities in Negombo, Kandy, Matara, Trincomalee and Hambantota. Our objective at Toyota Lana is to provide quality service to customers," he said.

"We are equipped with qualified and skilled human resources and technology and provide provide quality service. We consider our skilled workforce an asset and they are provided with continuous training locally and overseas to upgrade their knowledge and skills and keep pace with the latest technological advancement," Samaranayake said.

"Their training is on par with Toyota Corporation's professional standards and the latest technology therefore your vehicle is in the safest hands. We make work at our company a rewarding and enjoyable task and create a 'customer-first' working culture," he said.

"We have always believed in the philosophy of lifetime customers and lifetime employees. An annual skills contest is used to enhance skills and competencies of technical staff," he said.

"Our general services includes periodic maintenance, general maintenance including hybrid vehicle services, maintenance and repairs.

Toyota Lanka were the first to introduce hybrid vehicles in Sri Lanka and we provide all services and maintenance covering all aspects of hybrid vehicles. We have given hybrid car users express maintenance service," Samaranayake said.

"Toyota's body repair and painting facility is the only purpose built workshop to undertake repairs of Toyota vehicles and ensure global standards of vehicle care.

The service excellence of Toyota Lanka is proved by zero after service complaints or returns. Even under such conditions we have strong follow-up service," the General Manager said.

"Our expert technical team uses specially designed precision tools for servicing, fault diagnosis and maintenance.

Body repair and paint facility is specially designed for Toyota vehicles with Special Service Tools (SSTs) such as the Car-O-Liner, a computerised measuring system for alignments on the body and frame, advanced welding machines, ultra-violet heaters for uniform and speedy drying," he said.

"The accolades secured by Toyota Lanka demonstrates its managerial excellence in every sphere and how it has become a model unit in the parent company.

Toyota Lanka was awarded the G-Value Award by the parent company in Japan last month.

Toyota Lanka was also honoured with ISO 9001-Quality Management systems (QMS), ISO14001-Environmental Management systems (EMS), ISO 18001-Occupational Health and Safety Advisory Systems. Toyota Lanka was the first automobile company in Sri Lanka to receive all these three certifications simultaneously," he said.
