Millions of rupees for Trinco development

The Allaikulam reservoir in the Mahaveli C zone will be developed on a special directive of President Mahinda Rajapaksa. Rs. 69.8 million has also been allocated to build a three-storeyed building for the Muttur Pradeshiya Sabha, SLFP Coordinator for Muttur Division M.H. Haja Mohideen said.

He said millions of rupees have been allocated for the Trincomalee district under the Deyata Kirula program by the Economic Development Ministry to improve infrastructure and implement livelihood development projects.

The development projects implemented by the Government is sufficient to ascertain the victory of the UPFA at the forthcoming Eastern Provincial Council election, Mohideen said.

The people in the district should use the Provincial Council election to pay their gratitude to President Rajapaksa, he said. The Government has allocated sufficient funds to improve the education and health sectors.
