Kantar CEO meets business leaders

The quality of employees and management is vital to drive growth in businesses, said Kantar Group CEO, Eric Salama during a brief stay in Sri Lanka.

He said the global business environment is challenging as clients seek quick and effective solutions, holistic views of customers, building brands, innovation and dealing with trade which is traditional.

"Sri Lanka's business environment has changed but still has a long way to go. Innovative ideas, dynamism and talent will help the country to accelerate growth," Salama said.

He said harnessing talent is crucial to spur growth in organisations. "Kantar comprises 30,000 employees who are provided skills development training" , he said.

Lanka Market Research Bureau (LMRB), a subsidiary of the worldwide Kantar Group, hosted an evening meeting for Kantar CEO, Eric Salama to meet senior business leaders and the media last week.

"Kantar, the information, insight and consulting division of WPP, is engaged in providing insight and consultancy services around the world covering innovation and new product development to optimisation of marketing spend and measurement of media audiences," a spokesman for the Kantar Group said.
