VMS Travels founder honoured

VMS Travels, a IATA travel agency in Sri Lankan which has been in existence for over 25 years was founded by Vigneswaran who counts over 40 years' experience in the travel trade of which 18 years was with Swiss Air.

He was honoured with a gold award at the IATA Travel Agent award ceremony. With the growth in business it was a necessary for the company to move from the Galadari Hotel to a commercial area in Colombo. The office at Galle Road, Colombo 4 has ample parking facilities.

To accommodate the airline GSA a subsidiary company VMS Aviation Air Services (Pvt) Ltd was set up. The company represents airlines such as Ethiopian Airlines, Cebu Pacific and also offers management expertise to China Southern Airlines.
