Ranaviru Real Star revenue for Security Forces

Dialog Axiata PLC has donated revenue generated from SMS (Short Messaging Service) based voting in the grand finale of the Ranaviru Real Star: Mission 2 to the Api Wenuwen Api Fund, organised by the Ministry of Defence and Urban Development.

The Api Wenuwen Api Fund, a collaboration between the Ministry of Defence and Urban Development and the Central Bank has set a target of building 50,000 housing units for the Security Forces over five years.

The first housing scheme comprising 1,620 housing units are being built at Ipolagama in the Anuradhapura district and will be completed in six months, while phase two will commence in Horowpathana in the Anuradhapura district.
