Bad weather to continue till December

The adverse weather patterns currently prevailing in the country will continue till December, the Meteorology Department said. With the formation of inter-monsoonal conditions, various parts of the country have been experiencing heavy showers with thunder and lightning from time to time for the past few days.

This weather will continue, the Department said. Rains can be expected in the evening hours. The Meteorology Department has predicted that during this period, most parts of the country including the North and the East will experience heavy rains with lightning and thunder. People are also cautioned to be vigilant of thunder strikes.
