Ashley Ratnayake President, MCA

Former Anandian wicket keeper, batsman, the 48-years-old, Ashley Ratnayake from Lanka Bell was unanimously elected as the 37th President of the Mercantile Cricket Association at the 95 th Annual General Meeting held at the MCA recently. Ratnayake, who entered MCA in 1996 was the General Secretary in 2005 and 2006, then a Vice President there onwards until taking high office. The office-bearers for the period 2012/2013 (all unanimously elected).
