Mothercare and Early Learning Centre in Sri Lanka
Softlogic has been appointed the franchise partner for Mothercare and
Early Learning Centre. Softlogic opened its first Mothercare store in
Bambalapitiya recently.
"We have introduced the Mothercare and Early Learning Centre as a
mini departmental store. It will cater to the upper middle and high-end
market in keeping with the Mothercare global retailer approach.
The exciting range on offer will target the mother, baby and
children's market and a significant investment has been made in
introducing the international brand," Softlogic Holdings, Chairman Ashok
Pathirana said.
"With everything under one roof our goal is to support and help
parents every step of the way to parenting," he said.
The Mothercare store has two floors of selling space in a convenient
location and has ample parking facilities. It offers clothing for
children upto 8 years, pushchairs, car seats, high-chairs and toys.
Mothercare is an iconic global specialist retailer of pre-natal and
baby products. The company operates in the United Kingdom through its
retail and internet functions and internationally through retail
franchises in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and South America.
Softlogic has expanded and diversified into the growth sectors of the
