Training for global commerce excellence

Shippers’ Academy CEO Rohan Masakorala and Brandix Group CEO, Ashroff Omar

Brandix Lanka Ltd has initiated a program with the Shippers' Academy Colombo (SAC) to train employees in its group of companies on various aspects of global commerce. The Shippers' Academy has specialised academic staff to develop customised programs for corporate clients involved in global trade and transportation.

The first batch of 50 merchandisers were trained at Brandix Essentials after an understudy of their requirements by the Shippers' Academy consultants.

The program focused on the academic and operational aspects of international trade and transport to strengthen the supply chain.

The Shippers' Academy CEO, Rohan Masakorala said that it was the positive thinking of Brandix Group CEO, Ashroff Omar and the understanding he had of the supply chain and its importance that paved the way for this new method of empowering employees with sub-sector knowledge to reduce waste and eliminate supply chain delays.
