It was a night to remember when Sensation 2012, a night of contemporary music was held on the November 17 in Melbourne, featuring the Melbourne based Sri Lankan talent. The event organised by Sithira Amaradasa of The Magnitude included music by a band led by Chandima Jayatillake providing music to artistes Ranil Mallawarachchi, Malith Perera, Sunj Bandara and Milin Rupasinghe, and was held at St Schol's Community centre.

The band members were rhythm guitarist Sahan Weerasinghe, lead guitarist Ashen Mahaliyanage, drummer and guitarist Darsh Antonige, pianist Hirushika Abeygunawardena, percussionist Pubudu Jayakody and violinist Rasika Hewage.
