Painting exhibition by 20 child artists

Alliance Française de Colombo has organised a painting exhibition by 20 top child artists on Saturday, December 8 from 10 a.m to 4 p.m at their Gallery at Barnes Place, Colombo 7.

The response has been overwhelming with many child artists between 6 to 18 years applying to take part in three different age groups 6 - 10 years, 10 - 15 years and 15 - 18 years.

Originally the organisers wanted to select the Best 20 Child Artists' paintings but due to high demand they are exploring the possibility of increasing it to 25 artists' paintings. Each child artist is allowed to exhibit five paintings and there will be around 100 paintings.

In addition, there will be other attractions such as face painting, Santa Claus, a musical evening by Oshari and Pansiluni Weerawansa , another two child artists with Mr BEAN (Prasad Galappaththi) as guest artist.

Children be there with your parents and friends on December 8 at Alliance Française de Colombo. It is free.
