ComBank e-Exchange promotion

The Commercial Bank will double the value, up to a maximum of Rs 100,000, for remittances through e-Exchange, the Bank's real-time on-line money transfer service between December 15, 2012 to January 11, 2013.

The winners will be selected at four weekly draws.

Rs 1.5 m has been set aside as prize money under this promotion, 'Double the value you send to Commercial Bank this season.' All beneficiaries of e-Exchange remittances, cash and account transfers, are eligible to participate in the relevant week's draw, at which Rs 375,000 can be won.

"The period leading up to Christmas and the New Year is a peak period for remittances," said Commercial Bank's Chief Manager, e Banking Division, Pradeep Banduwansa.

"Therefore, running a promotion of this nature enables a larger segment of customers to participate and share in the excitement."

Weekly draws to select winners will be conducted on December 24 and 31, and on January 7 and 14.
