More Lankan peace-keepers for Haiti

The next contingent of Sri Lankan troops for the United Nations Peace Keeping Mission in Haiti will leave the island during the first week of January 2013. According to military sources, this is the 15th Lankan Forces contingent to be sent to Haiti and comprises Army, Navy and Air Force personnel.

Their passing out parade was held at Sri Lanka Engineers Regimental Headquarters premises at the Panagoda Army Cantonment recently.
