"We consider Sri Lanka to be a good market and decided to initiate
the launch of the women's wear collection from Sri Lanka. We have an
extensive export network and are confident that this range will be a top
contributor to the company's bottom line, Siyaram's Executive Director,
Kishan Poddar said.
Recognised as one of the most trusted brands in India, Siyaram will
exploit Sri Lanka's rapid economic growth. The consumer is moving
towards quality, up-market products and 'Siya' will cater to this
segment, he said.
"However, we will cater to various price and fashion segments and
will tie up with reputed multi-brand fashion stores across the country.
We will be finalising the dealer network in a week," Poddar said.
The end products will be localised with the infusion of Indian
designs and technology in keeping with current fashion trends.
'Siya' the first women's wear brand from Siyaram which has ventured
into the international market with a ready-to-wear collection of stylish
salwar kameez dupatta and 'ready-to-stitch' fabrics.
