New appointments at Seylan Bank

Nihal Jayamanne	Ishara Nanayakkara

Nihal Jayamanne, President's Counsel and Senior Independent Director of Seylan Bank assumed duties as its new Chairman while Ishara Nanayakkara assumed duties as Deputy Chairman of the Bank.

Nihal Jayamanne holds key offices in the fields of law. Jayamanne also serves on the Boards of Sri Lankan Airlines and Sri Lankan Catering Services.

Ishara Nanayakkara, a businessman is a director in many companies. He ventured into the financial services sector through his investment in LOLC. He is the Deputy Chairman of LOLC Group, Director of Lanka ORIX Finance PLC and Chairman of Commercial Leasing and Finance PLC.

He was appointed to the Board of Seylan Bank PLC on November 24, 2009 and also serves as Chairman of the Sustainability Committee.
