HNB Assurance pays Rs. 210 lakhs in claims in one-day

HNB Assurance honoured two claim settlements amounting to Rs. 210 lakhs under General Insurance on January 17.

The beneficiaries were a rice mill owner mill from Polonnaruwa, Sulaiman Lebbe and a hardware shop owner from Tissamaharama, H R S K Gayan. These claims were a result of floods and a fire which destroyed a business in a couple of minutes.

Sulaiman Lebbe said, "I am very happy to be with HNB Assurance. Speedy claim settlements is as an example to all other insurance companies."

"It is our duty to take care and nurture the entrepreneurs of this country. We are ready to serve them with the right insurance solutions to safeguard them from business uncertainties," said the company's General Manager Marketing and Distribution, Lalith Fernando said.
