Cleaning woman steals train and crashes into house
An empty commuter train was parked at a depot in Stockholm, Sweden
and suddenly it comes alive and starts running along the rail track at a
speed of 1.6 km and after about a mile, at the end of the tracks it
ploughs into a house.
The driver of the train was a young cleaning woman about 20 years,
who had got access to the key needed to start the train."The woman
cleaner drove the train at high speed, considerably higher than normal
on the stretch, to where the rails end and crashed into a house", said
Jesper Pettersson, spokesperson at Stockholm Public TransportSL The
train ploughed past the end of the line and vaulted over a street
separating the house from the depot, crashing through a balcony and into
a downstairs room in the upscale suburb of Saltsjobaden.
It was revealed that the cleaner woman had stolen the keys of the
train. The woman was seriously injured and was flown to a Stockholm
hospital, police spokesman Lars Bystrom said. No one else was injured.
Bystrom said the woman was arrested on suspicion of endangering the
public.
"There were three families in the apartment building, but no one was
injured. At least not physically," Tomas Hedenius, a spokesman for the
train operator Arriva said. Police officers stand around a local train
that derailed and crashed into a residential building in Saltsjobaden

Shoulder dislocates every time she sneezes
What will you do if your shoulder dislocates every time you sneeze?
This is what 20-year- old Lauren Harvey has to undergo every time she
sneezes or coughs or a stumble or the slightest jolt - even driving over
speed dump.

Lauren from Wrexham, north Wales has to go to hospital to have them
put back the shoulder in place.
At worst it can happen 20 times a day.
Doctors believe Lauren has Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, a genetic
condition which means her collagen is too weak to hold her limbs in
place.
Recently she went to hospital four times where she is given gas
before her limbs are wrestled back into place.
Lauren, first experienced pains in her legs at the age of 11, but was
told it was due to growing pains.
But at the age of 15 she fell off her crutches, injuring her shoulder
in the process, and since then her joints, including her knees and
fingers, have regularly dislocated.
She said: "It really hurts but I hardly ever cry. I don't want other
people to see me in pain.
Lauren, who works at McDonald's in Chester, was unable to complete
her AS levels because of her condition and has been given stabilising
surgery on her shoulders on five separate occasions.
Lauren has yet to be tested for Ehlers-Danlos, but is currently
seeking funding for specialist treatment at The Royal National
Orthopedic Hospital in Stanmore.
Despite her condition Lauren says she tries to make sure it does not
prevent her from leading a normal life. She said: "In work I always go
in regardless of how much pain I'm in.
"People can't get a day off work because of me. They just say 'well,
look what Lauren has to go through'.
"They're really good with me in McDonald's, they'll get me a chair if
I need to sit down.
"I can only really work on the 'drive thru' taking orders and
payments because I'm anaphylactic and allergic to nuts and sesame
seeds."
Snow-covered Audi drives along M4 motorway
The car had an out-of-the-world appearance. It was completely covered
with snow and a small hole on the windscreen was visible.
It was for the driver to see the road.Just imagine a similar looking
car coming face to face with you on a highway

motorway |
This is what several motorists witnessed while driving along the M4
motorway experienced recently. A moronic motorist was spotted driving
along the M4 motorway, having only cleared a tiny slot in the snow
covering the windscreen so they could see.
The dunce of a driver's Audi A4 was snapped by a fellow road user
between junctions 28 and 29 between Newport and Cardiff, south Wales.
Said to have been travelling at around 70mph, the prattish pilot
hadn't bothered to do much in the way of preparation before setting off
on their journey at the weekend.
And despite raising laughs and scorn in equal measure when the
picture was shared on social media networks, the driver has been roundly
criticised - and could even be prosecuted for breaking the law.
According to police advice for driving in treacherous conditions, it is
an offence to take to the road with obscured vision. Motorists are also
advised to clear all snow from the top of their vehicle before departing
in case it falls onto either the front or rear windscreen - but that's a
fair few steps ahead for this fool...
Witnesses described the driver as 'an irresponsible idiot' and said
they were endangering other road users with their actions.
'Driving on the roads that day was difficult enough without having to
peer through a gap no bigger than a letterbox to see where you're
going.'
This driver's behaviour came on the same weekend a man was killed in
a road accident in Essex after his car skidded off the road and struck a
tree. |
